Hm, I've been running FC5 without problems since it was released. I've noticed 
that people seem to experience all sorts of problems with the latest kernel, so 
I have updated my FC5 to latest level excluding kernel-2.6.17-1.2139 and I am 
just running fine. Apparently you have hit the bleeding edge of FC5 ;-)
