Hi, Recently I have upgraded samba from version 2.2 to 3 series. Samba 2.2 was configured to use codepage 850. Now on samba 3, it uses UTF. While investigating gnome-console odd behavior on restoring, I've realized that some filenames still use codepage 850, so there are some "invisible" folders and files for the GUI. On bconsole they are there. I've been wondering whether converting the filenames in my database could solve this problem. Is this true?
