Zitat von Hans-Peter Straub <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: Hello again,
now i got a workaround for my problem. I've defined only one device for all the pools and different volumes. Now the restore job found the Volume to extract the files. I want to define many different Volumes and pools to seperate the Backups to handle this archives in many different ways. So my next question is: Isn't it possible to define many different devices (all are of type File on the same harddisk). Moreover the next problem i got is, that bacula apparently don't execute more then one job on the same device, and many jobs that normaly should be done in the night aren't finished at that short time period. Do someone have any experience with a similar problem? Thank you Hans-Peter Straub > Hello all, > > i get a problem when restoring files from an archiv. When storing the > backup all > goes well. But when i'm going to restore it, i get the folowing error: > > --------------------------------- > 13-Jul 19:42 server-dir: Start Restore Job > Restore-e6-htdocs.2006-07-13_19.42.42 > 13-Jul 19:42 server-sd: Failed command: > 13-Jul 19:42 server-sd: Restore-e6-htdocs.2006-07-13_19.42.42 Fatal error: > Device "FileStorage" with MediaType "File" requested by DIR not > found in SD > Device resources. > 13-Jul 19:42 server-dir: Restore-e6-htdocs.2006-07-13_19.42.42 Fatal error: > Storage daemon didn't accept Device "FileStorage" because: > 3924 Device "FileStorage" not in SD Device resources. > 13-Jul 19:42 server-dir: Restore-e6-htdocs.2006-07-13_19.42.42 Error: Bacula > 1.38.9 (02May06): 13-Jul-2006 19:42:45 > JobId: 9 > Job: Restore-e6-htdocs.2006-07-13_19.42.42 > Client: webfarm-e6-fd > Start time: 13-Jul-2006 19:42:44 > End time: 13-Jul-2006 19:42:45 > Files Expected: 109 > Files Restored: 0 > Bytes Restored: 0 > Rate: 0.0 KB/s > FD Errors: 0 > FD termination status: > SD termination status: > Termination: *** Restore Error *** > > 13-Jul 19:42 server-dir: Restore-e6-htdocs.2006-07-13_19.42.42 Error: Bacula > 1.38.9 (02May06): 13-Jul-2006 19:42:45 > JobId: 9 > Job: Restore-e6-htdocs.2006-07-13_19.42.42 > Client: webfarm-e6-fd > Start time: 13-Jul-2006 19:42:44 > End time: 13-Jul-2006 19:42:45 > Files Expected: 109 > Files Restored: 0 > Bytes Restored: 0 > Rate: 0.0 KB/s > FD Errors: 1 > FD termination status: > SD termination status: > Termination: *** Restore Error *** > ------------------------------------- > > The Problem is that the Pool and the Device i > 'v configured for the Backup and the restore will be ignored from the restore > process.
