Greetings, I am the system administrator at a lab at UCR. We have a ~800GB RAID 5 array that was being backed up using bacula that suffered severe data loss (mostly due to reiserfsck) that was being backed up to an Exabyte tape changer system. Unfortunately, the bacula database happened to be on the array. I'm trying to rebuild the database, however, with 20 tapes that are each taking ~4 hours to scan (I'm still scanning the first one) this is going to take a very very long time. Is there a faster way to do this?
I'm using bacula 1.36.2-2sarge1 on Debian-stable. Thanks, Shawn Lesniak ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
