Most likely you have not properly defined the Slot in the catalog entry for Volume7. Do, llist Volume=Volume7 and check, then correct with the update command. > > relevant section from sd.config: > Autochanger { > Name = "EXABYTE VXA 1x10 1U" > Device = "VXA2" > Changer Device = /dev/sg3 > Changer Command = "/etc/bacula/mtx-changer %c %o %S %a %d" > } > > > Device { > Maximum Changer Wait = 120 > Name = "VXA2" > Archive Device = /dev/st0 > Autochanger = Yes > Media Type = VXA-2 > Removable Media = Yes > Random Access = No > Hardware End of Medium = No > Fast Forward Space File = No > Backward Space Record = No > Backward Space File = Yes > Forward Space Record = Yes > Forward Space File = Yes > Offline On Unmount = Yes > Label Media = Yes > automaticMount = Yes > Spool Directory = /ex1/VXA > } > None of this should really matter, but recommendations: - use /dev/nst0 instead of /dev/st0 - Unless *absolutely* necessary remove "Offline on Unmount = yes" Having it defined is likely to screw up your autochanger. If it is really necessary, turn on the appropriate line in mtx-changer. - Remove automaticMount = yes If you make changes here, test them carefully before putting it into production (i.e. use btape). > > > > > > > Matt Cowger wrote: > > My exabyte PacketLoader 1x10 VXA2 autochanger also works fine > > straight out of the box. > > > > > > > > On Aug 18, 2006, at 7:57 AM, Michael Brennen wrote: > > > > > >> On Fri, 18 Aug 2006, Daniel Vesely wrote: > >> > >> > >>> i have an VXA2 10U autochanger with 10 slots 1-10 but bacula think > >>> that slots > >>> is 0-9 - so where i have setup that the slots start from slot 1? > >>> > >> My autochanger numbers from one, and Bacula is working with it > >> without problem. > >> > >> -- Michael > >> > >> ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > >> --- > >> Using Tomcat but need to do more?
