Nice, and it seems to me that just recently I commented that I didn't consider Bacula to be enterprise level software :-) > > Next step: automatically triggering migrations on exceeding pool > thresholds...8-) Would it make sense to start thinking about separating > scheduling into a different daemon from the director, eg, allow the > director to continue coordinating status and job dispatching, but have > an new external process monitor thresholds and/or determine what jobs > should be run next? Yes, I would like to have "automatic" triggering of migrations done with a Python event that I could imagine getting called everytime a Volume record gets changed, or something similar. I haven't thought much about it, but could imagine adding one or more Python events prior to 1.40.0 release. The big question is what additional functionality/features the Python scripting needs. As Thorsten pointed out, I'd also like to think about a Copy job. > > I haven't thought through this much, but there seems to be an > interesting opportunity here. > > > -- db > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Using Tomcat but need to do more?
