Hello Stefan, I just installed the current packages from the edgy repositories. If you don't need the GUI front-end you only have to upgrade a few, if any, additional packages. Be aware that the packages later than 1.38.8 use sqlite3 instead of sqlite2 as default which is horribly slow.
