Hi all. I've been using Bacula for a little over a year now, and I
still don't understand something. Here's a snip of parts from my
config:

Pool {
  Name = Server1
  Use Volume Once = yes
  Pool Type = Backup
  LabelFormat = "Server1"
  AutoPrune = yes
  VolumeRetention = 8d
  Maximum Volumes = 9
  Recycle = yes
}
Storage {
  Name = Server1
  Address = x.x.x.x
  SDPort = 9103
  Password = xxxx
  Device = Server1
  Media Type = File
}

I wanted each file to be used only once so I can delete one backup if
I needed space in a pinch. I thought that one backup would take one
volume, but this isn't the case. I've got several backups for various
clients that take multiple volumes. Why is this? Is there anyway to
predict this or prevent this from happening?

Thanks!
