Yup, that looks as though the tape is blank.
Have you tried btape and the command readlabel on that tape? Also, 'dd |
od' or whatever flavour of that command you prefer can tell you if the
tape holds a Bacula label. Then, finally, do you have system log
messages regarding your tape drive?

Initially I used label barcodes command to label all 23 tapes in the autochanger a few weeks back and I have not written to this tape since.
I had already soved this problem by using the delete volume command then unmount. Then the mtx command to physically mount the media in the first drive and finally a mount and bacula labeled the tape. I guess I should have waited at least few minutes before implementing workarounds as I would have probably been able to figure out the cause of the problem.
