The two major drawbacks with debian can be summed up as follows. 1: No commercial vendor support (someone please tell me I'm wrong) 2: Unless you use "Unstable" or "testing" distributions it often won't boot/install on newer hardware. In a commercial environment, lack of vendor support is a show stopper, which is a shame considering Debian's overall stability.
