Make sure you always copy the list, and it's probably best in these
cases NOT to trim the original quote, because sometimes people jump in
mid-way and aren't able to follow if there's no backstory.

I was asking if the DVD was full when it was FINISHED writing. I was
going on the hypothesis that "perhaps the DVD wasn't full when it was
done being written, and that's why they weren't getting marked as full."

My understanding is that a volume should only be marked full if a volume
is being written to and the end of the volume is hit. I can't verify
this, but I have always assumed that's the way it worked. Therefore, I
would not expect to EVER end up with a full volume unless you have a job
spanning two volumes, because the odds of you hitting the exact end of
the volume are virtually nil.

Can anyone verify this?
