One other thing, as I was reminded earlier this week by a problem Arno was having, whenever something weird is going on with your Window machine, try disabling the anti-virus. The same goes with any firewall software. It goes without saying (but I'm going to say it anyways :-), only do this with a machine that is not on the internet and re-enable them immediately after the test.
