Look in the CVS module named "regress".  Some of the programs in 
<regress>/tests that end with "test" rather than "tape"  use the disk-changer 
script.  Pay particular attention to what is done to "initialize" the 
directory to be used before it uses the script.  I forget the details, but it 
is all there.
