Hello, I've done some more checking of my bacula situation. To recap bacula is giving me an error can not connect to mysql socket /tmp/mysql.soc. This is bacula 2.03 and mysql5 on FreeBSD 6. I commented out the skip-networking line in /etc/my.cnf, i didn't want mysql to listen on tcp/ip but have interactions only through sockets, restarted mysql, restarted the bacula director, and it worked. This says that skip-networking is the issue, i was wondering if anyone had bacula talking to a mysql database using sockets? Thanks. Dave.
