Dear All,
Either the sourceforge list search is not working properly or there
really is no interest in backing up AFS volumes :) Tried the search and
came back with ZERO results.

I need to be able to use bacula to backup AFS volumes. Obviously the
easiest approach is:

1. use the afs-bacula script to get a token for the bacula user and let
the fd do a file level backup.

The drawbacks are immense here. The biggest one being that ACLs are
lost. I would be extremely interested in knowing what other people are
doing? One way to look at it is that losing ACLs is okay. But in the
case of a real disaster, we would have a small army of people trying to
fix ACLs back!

Also a single file restored would also need to have its ACLs re-set.

I can also use vos dump and backup JUST the volume dump... but thats
REALLY wasteful (full dump every night :( )

Any pointers? Ofcourses I can just skip bacula and use AFS's own backup
- but thats another backup system to handle....
