Hey! Are we talking about the restore mode in bconsole?

Otherwise, the cd examples are absolutely pointless :-)

Or would you be interested in the fact that "cd plugins.op5" works here, 
but not cd'ing to "Documents and Settings"?

Back to bconsole, then...
The shell you run has nothing to do with bconsole, and you can use 
quoutes to, erm, qoute spaces in path names.

If you really can't do 'cd "Documents and Settings"' please do a 'ls' or 
'dir' command and see if that directory actually exists.

If you have a case where you can not cd into an existing directory in 
bconsoles restore command file selection (what an expression!) than this 
would be a bug... but just a few days ago, I cd'ed into "c:/Dokumente 
und Einstellungen/arno/Anwendungsdaten/" and it worked...
