Kind of... I know that was the normal behaviour for versions up 1.38. 
It's possible that development to automatically handle such a situation 
is in progress, I'm unsure.

Personally, I haven't done a restore across multiple media types since I 
installed version 2 because I know what to do (at least I think so...), 
but as you're running 2.0, I guess this is still the usual behaviour.

Right, but I suppose noone ever fixed it :-)

It surely would be nice if Bacula handled these situations correctly, 
and I assume that, with migration jobs working, the problem will arise 
more often in the future. But obviously no developer thought it 
necessary to fix it... yet.
