He, theoretically, should not need this if his retention times are set
properly, as the job will always automatically upgrade to full, unless
you have disabled this (if that's possible). I wouldn't plan my backups
that way, but he is onto something here.

In the future, though, I think you can list jobs by client -- this would
be much easier than making us wade through all of that to help you.
