I think so too. Maybe I can test this tomorrow, so that we can add the
note about "...but include new files in the next regular backup" in
the docs.

Yes, I think it would be clearer, although with the correct explanation it
seems to me obvious now. That's the problem with docs. It's always obvious
when you're sure you get the point, but it needs extra sentences when you do
not, even with such a well-written and detailed doc as for bacula.
