Hello,

I have just released the source code and Windows binaries of Bacula BETA
2.1.26 to the bacula-beta section of Source Forge.

The main changes since the last beta release are:

- Add qwt graphics library (for Qt4) needed to build bat to the
  depkgs-11Jul07.tar.gz package
- You now need a --with-qwt=<dir> to be able to build bat.
- Keep prune_volumes() from pruning the whole Scratch pool.
- More debug output in status storage.
- Correct moving a Scratch volume from pool to pool (some
  critical columns were lost).
- New more efficient db_get_query_dbids() -- not yet implemented
everywhere, but currently used in volume pruning.

For packagers, now is the time to start preparing for release 2.2.0. Unless
some major new bug crops up, this will be the last beta release prior to a
full release.

The following is still outstanding from the last beta release:

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please Note !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Restore on Win32, and in particular on Vista is untested. Please
test before relying on it. It should backup and restore reparse
points.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If no one wants to test the Win32 version and report back on it (particularly
Vista, Vista VSS, and reparse points), I will test it myself. However, in
that case, I am condering not making the binaries available on Source Forge,
but on some other site and for a fee. Of course, you can build it yourself
for free -- as is always the case.

Best regards,

Kern
