1) Be sure that the messages resource on the SD is setup to report errors back to the DIR. You should get them via e-mail/console then
2) Be sure to run "btape test" (see manual) to ensure that your drive/media combination is correct 3) Run the SD with foreground+debugging information 4) Try setting up virtual-tape File storage resources on the SD to verify that it is not a network issue. ~BAS Thu, 2007-07-19 at 10:50 -0400, [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > hi all, > > now started same job with new tape, its still running so i have to > cancel it, still i notice "SD Files Written: 0" > when i saw status of storage it shows data shown in "FD bytes written:" > field, i am not sure what happening. > > > > 18-Jul 18:19 backup-dir: Start Backup JobId 14, > Job=server-backup.2007-07-18_18.19.05 > 18-Jul 18:19 backup-sd: Wrote label to prelabeled Volume "server-c" on > device "DLTDrive" (/dev/st0) > 19-Jul 19:48 server-fd: server-backup.2007-07-18_18.19.05 Fatal error: > backup.c:873 Network send error to SD.
