Hello, As many of you know, we had some problems with the machine that was hosting the Bacula web site. Apparently the disk was full (no fault of Bacula), which prevented us from making any changes. Since the ISP did not respond to my request for help, I asked on these lists for an ISP willing to host us. Much to my surprise, there were many kind offers -- thanks to all of you who responded.
I've now selected among the offers and have moved the Bacula web site to our new hosting machine very generously offered by www.ukfast.net -- many thanks. The switch over occurred yesterday (Saturday) but it has taken time for the new IP address to propagate through the Internet. You can recognize the new Bacula site by the fact that it now has three, rather than two, flags at the top main screen (British, French, and German), and I am very pleased to announce that the site is now translated into German and the translation of the manual into German is progressing very nicely, but thanks to Thomas Glatthor. Thomas has asked for help proof reading the German site so if any of you German readers find any glitches, please forward them to him at: Thomas.Glatthor at ic3s dot de If you have any comments about the German translation of the manual, please bear in mind that it is a big work in progress. I've tried to verify all the links on the site (such a move nearly always turns up a problem or two), but there are so many of them that I am not sure I have caught all the problems.
