Found binaries. But no clue how to configure anything at all. I thing  
it was pixelchaos or something like that. Very easy to find.

My hesitance about combining installation packages (fink, ports...) is  
more a matter of packages installing duplicated libraries to meet  
dependencies. And then I get into trouble thinking I have version 2  
when in fact my code is using version 1.
