the last 2 have a 15,552,000 volume retention period. This is in seconds so dividing by 60 then 60 then 24 leads to 180 days. And I can see that 180 days have not passed since November 24 2008. I believe the problem here is at some point you reduced the volume retention (to 30 days) in the bacula configuration files but did not know that this does not apply to already labeled volumes. To fix this you need to open a bconsole and use the update volume command and follow the prompts to change the Volume Retention Period on each volume. Since you have a lot of volumes this is going to be a tedious task. You may want to edit the database directly if you know SQL. If you do edit the database you will need to restart the director for the new retention period to take effect. John -- John M.
