The way I set it up, the tunnel will remain open for a minimum of 1 minute - to give bacula enough time to initiate contact. After that, with my setup, the tunnel would disappear immediately when the last connection closes.
I can't tell exactly when the tunnel disappears, but it happens fairly shortly after this initial one minute.
