On my end, I used the pool name as part of the label, as well. Otherwise, you can't really tell which volume belongs in which pool. And unlike the job assignment, that's constant at least in my setup (I don't use a scratch pool or the like).
Also, personally I preferred to use {NumVols} rather than allowing bacula to assign the numbers, because bacula uses the media id. NumVols will usually result in consecutive numbers that appeal to my sense of elegance. Note: this is a two-edged sword, because if you already have volumes in your pool, {NumVols} can lead to naming conflicts. ML mail wrote: > As you say this is very confusing...
