Hi John, Thanks for your valuable advice, as usual. The errors went when i created the /var/lib/bacula/ file. But why this file is created, should it not be present in the database. Does the /var/lib/bacula/client.bsr file exist? How about the folder /var/lib/bacula Are the permissions set so that whatever user bacula-dir runs as has access to that file.
