Hello,
We are using Bacula Version: 2.2.7 on a Linux Host. We have been taking backup
since quite a long but today I noticed a unique problem.
1. The tape from the previous backup was stuck inside the drive and hence
further backups could not be proceeded. I tried to manually unmount the tape
but it did not help. Hence with no options around, I restarted the tape
library. And the problem got solved. Question is , why it got stuck inside ??
Is there any way to find out the reason behind ?? Please suggest.
2. We observed next problem immediately after, I just happened to see the next
scheduled jobs in 7 days and could not find the correct listing for our daily
incremental backup. Let me explain properly here.
We have a EXPORT backup for one of our client that is scheduled as daily
incremental and weekly full as shown below.

One can clearly see that, there are no incremental backup jobs scheduled on
5,6 & 7 May as well as on 12,13 & 14. Why?? Ideally they do run from Monday to
Thursday (as defined above) and Friday full backup.
I see some pattern in this problem, like it is only able to schedule for
Monday. ( 4 May and 11 May) but not on days after Monday.
Can anyone point me in right direction as it is getting confusing for me. Am I
missing something here??
