I have an ubuntu server running the bacula-dir and bacula-sd. I have installed the bacula-fd package from the EPEL yum repo and it installs and starts up. I see the PID running when I do ps aucx | grep bacu*
The passwords match and I can telnet into port 9102 from the dir machine but I can't for the life of me get the bacula-dir connected to the fd. I get this error: 12-May 08:20 vmLXBackup-dir JobId 0: Fatal error: Unable to authenticate with File daemon at "LXWebSrv:9102". Possible causes: Passwords or names not the same or Maximum Concurrent Jobs exceeded on the FD or FD networking messed up (restart daemon). Please see http://www.bacula.org/rel-manual/faq.html#AuthorizationErrors for help. I've read over that page and can't find a reason. Is there a trace file or anything I can look at to further troubleshoot? The dir can resolve the name of the client and everything. +---------------------------------------------------------------------- |This was sent by dain.bent...@gmail.com via Backup Central. |Forward SPAM to ab...@backupcentral.com. +---------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The NEW KODAK i700 Series Scanners deliver under ANY circumstances!
