I've successfully recompiled bat support with bacula (bat support: yes).
However, when I run the binary I don't get any output.
[r...@monk ~]# /usr/sbin/bat -d99 -c /etc/bacula/bat.conf
No output. Nothing in logs.
Troubleshooting steps:
-verify that bat exists
[r...@monk ~]# which bat
/usr/sbin/bat
-verify conf file exist
[r...@monk ~]# ls /etc/bacula/bat.conf
/etc/bacula/bat.conf
-contents of bat.conf
Director {
Name = bacula01-dir
DIRport = 9101
address = monk
Password = "passomitted"
}
Also, here is a dump of strace when I run bat.
[r...@monk ~]# strace /usr/sbin/bat -d99 -c /etc/bacula/bat.conf
execve("/usr/sbin/bat", ["/usr/sbin/bat", "-d99", "-c",
"/etc/bacula/bat.conf"], [/* 29 vars */]) = -1 ENOEXEC (Exec format error)
dup(2) = 3
fcntl(3, F_GETFL) = 0x8002 (flags O_RDWR|O_LARGEFILE)
fstat(3, {st_mode=S_IFCHR|0620, st_rdev=makedev(136, 2), ...}) = 0
mmap(NULL, 4096, PROT_READ|PROT_WRITE, MAP_PRIVATE|MAP_ANONYMOUS, -1, 0) =
0x2b37dc19e000
lseek(3, 0, SEEK_CUR) = -1 ESPIPE (Illegal seek)
write(3, "strace: exec: Exec format error\n", 32strace: exec: Exec format error
) = 32
close(3) = 0
munmap(0x2b37dc19e000, 4096) = 0
exit_group(1) = ?
I've also ran this command via xwindos (gnome) and same result. Any help is
appreciated.
Thanks!
