Are you thinking about division this large data amount to smaller parts? Eg. instead of one big backup on a lot of tapes you may divide to as many backups as you have tapes for one cycle. Eg. one tape = one backup (if it is possible in your data structure). In case need to restore whole 26TB of data it will take a lot of time and nerves provided that restore will finish successfully :) In my opinion, 26TB in one backup it is hard to manage. What do you think about it? Regards.
