I am using RedHat 6.4 version 64 bit.
Will you please tell me which device driver I need to install on my machine. I
have installed one called lintape something.
Thanks in advance…!

manually before configuring bacula
Hello,

Hi ,
I am using IBM TS3584 L53 LTO4
Below is the output for lsscsi –g command
You do not have a proper device driver installed for your tape drivers. Check
your log messages, etc.
You should ask your OS vendor support or IBM support for that. Keep in mind
that Bacula can't work with IBM lintape driver due a bug in the driver.
I don’t have any /dev/nst0 device
Trying to write something to /dev/sg* is very bad idea.
On Linux OS you need to use /dev/nst* devices.
best regards
