Making a workaround is a problem, it will add too much complexity/work. It would be better that Bacula works as expected (I cannot imagine that "mount" is optionnal in a backup process). Ubuntu 12.04 LTS' Bacula version is Bacula 5.2.5. Maybe this is fixed in higher versions ?
