Hello: are you using compression? Did you try to reduce compression level? 
E.g.: GZIP1.
I suppose setting a Maximum Bandwidth may also ease the work load in the client.
However I think it is kind of precipitated to blame Bacula client for this 
behavior since a spontaneous reboot can happen by a serie of different reasons, 
including faulty hardware. I would verify that first:
