Hello Kern
About Windows Storage I've made some tests but it looks doesn't work,if I
can connect I always receive the error:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
22-Jun 02:48 bacula-dir JobId 0: Fatal error: authenticate.c:169 Older
Storage daemon at "192.168.1.9:9103" incompatible with this Director.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And I'm using bacula 7.4.0 (bacula-dir Version: 7.4.0 (16 January 2016)
x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu debian 8.3)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*status storage=StorageWanderlei
Connecting to Storage daemon StorageWanderlei at 192.168.1.9:9103
wanderlei-sd Version: 7.4.0 (16 January 2016) Linux Cross-compile Win64
Daemon started 09-Jul-16 10:07. Jobs: run=0, running=0.
Heap: heap=0 smbytes=26,388 max_bytes=147,002 bufs=76 max_bufs=77
Sizes: boffset_t=8 size_t=8 int32_t=4 int64_t=8 mode=0,0 newbsr=0
Res: ndevices=1 nautochgr=0
Device status:
Device file: "DiscoWanderlei" (C:\Dados\StorageWanderlei) is not open.
You have messages.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And if I run the backup it looks after the error occurs, bacula-sd (on
windows side) is finished unexpected, is necessary to reboot the service.
A guy in Brazil asked about it, so I've tried to help him.
This is the default behaviour of Windows Binaries for Community (sd in this
case)
Or how the binaries are from Bacula Enterprise, this feature (bacula-sd) is
incompatible?
Best Regards
