Command-line on storage daemon: #mtx –f /dev/changer status I’m also not sure why you would use Maximum Volumes or Maximum Volume Jobs on tape media. Those directives are more appropriate for disk volumes and may ultimately cause you unnecessary issues. It is possible to have a tape with a bacula label to have the label become corrupted and/or unreadable. Sometimes the tape can be salvaged if it can be relabeled. Sometimes, not.
