Hi, I have a very basic question. I've been looking around for an answer

But seriously, you can modify your schedule(s), yes.

Assigning a new schedule will just cause it to run more often, or less often,
and this would require more (or less) storage depending on retention times.

Additionally, Schedules can override job levels so this is really an
impossible question to give any specifics on unless you were to spell out what
you have now and what you are thinking about changing to.

Changes that I want to make aren't very dramatic. Some of the machines
that I assigned a default schedule to won't be up when that job runs.
I want to give them another schedule; during working hours. They each
have their own job. Can I just change the schedule in the job I made, or
do I need to create another, new, job?

For now it's schedules, but I'll probably need to add filesets as well
down the road.

As a newb I want to get off on the right foot and try not to accumulate
too much cruft in the system.

Best Regards,
