Hey there! I am currently testing a recovery plan where i simulate the loss of my whole fileserver, in order to test procedures, etc etc
Bacula is 7.4.4 with pgsql, LTO-6 is from a TapeLoader (Dell PowerVault TL1000) connected through a Dell 12Gbps SAS HBA card to an ESXi 6.5 server with RAID5 disks. Controller card of disks is a Dell PERC H330. TapeLoader is physically connected to the same ESXi server where both VMs are (Bacula and new fileserver), meaning no network between both. I started the restore this morning 11.30am, and am a little bit surprised by the low speed of restore from the tape to the file server which is around 10-12Mo/s. So i know there's different things that will slow the speed (tape moving, i/o of disks, lot of small files), but sill, is there a specific thing i could've missed ?
