After much trial and tribulation I've finally got Bacula working with our tape

Centos 7. And while we can back up other Centos 7 servers, we get a "key not
authorized" error when trying to back up a RHEL 8 server.

bacula-sd and bacula-dir have to be at the same version. The bacula-fd version has to be the the same as or older than that of bacula-sd and bacula-dir.

I've tried installing the version of bacula-fd from Centos 7 on a RHEL 8 server
but I get tons of dependency issues so we're not doing that.

You can install the same or older version on the RHEL 8 server, but you cannot install the Centos 7 RPM on a RHEL 8 server. It is compiled against different versions of libraries.

Anyone out there solved this?
