Hi all,

I am planning to implement Bacula in the production environment of our data
center and have a few questions regarding the setup:

1. Which is better for Bacula Debian or Ubuntu (desktop version)?

2. How much disk space is required for the system installation? Would 100
GB suffice, or should it be larger?

3. What is the recommended amount of RAM? Is 8 GB sufficient, or should it
be higher?

4. How many CPU cores are recommended? Is 8 cores sufficient, or should I
go for more?

5. For storage, should we use our existing QNAP storage for Bacula backups,
or would it be better to allocate additional hard disks (e.g., 40TB) to the
Bacula VM? Additionally, what file system formats are recommended for these
disks (e.g., ext4, btrfs, or another) to avoid data loss in the event of a
power outage?

6. How should I configure these storage devices in Bacularis?

Thank you in advance for your guidance.

Best regards
