Hi,

With Bacula 15.0.2, is it possible in your opinion, to create a
completely dummy job?
What FileSet to put to have no backup?
The goal is to send a command to the Storage daemon (so on a client) at
the end of the backup.
Thanks in advance!

Hello Christophe,

If your goal is to not backup any data, and just send a command or run a script, why not create an Admin Job instead of a Backup Job?

You'd still need to create the dummy fileset, and client, etc to satisfy the parser as mentioned in Rob's re-post of my recent email, but Admin jobs are specifically for doing this sort of thing where no data is moved and just some number of scripts or commands are run.

Am I missing something in your requirements?

Best regards,
Bill
