Nope, never seen a problem with it.
Those are probably the docs on using a virtual disk autochanger where
there are multiple Devices assigned to the same autochanger device and
the ArchiveDevice for each Device is a different directory/mountpoint.
The problem is that a job may select drive 2 but request a volume that
is in the directory assigned to drive 1, so cannot be loaded. To prevent
this, different media types are needed for each Device.
