> As for 'network timeout', there' some 'io timout knob'?

I came back on this. Consider this VirtualFull job that have to consolidate
8TB of data:

 28-Jan 17:27 lnfbacula-dir JobId 34442: Start Virtual Backup JobId 34442,
Job=PUG-IBR-EEG2Ril.2025-01-28_17.27.42_28
 28-Jan 17:27 lnfbacula-dir JobId 34442: Consolidating
JobIds=30204,29141,29201,29261,29321,29534,29594
 28-Jan 17:27 lnfbacula-dir JobId 34442: Found 20588 files to consolidate into
Virtual Full.
 28-Jan 17:27 lnfbacula-dir JobId 34442: Using Device "MultiFileStorage1" to
read.
 28-Jan 17:27 lnfbacula-dir JobId 34442: Using Device "MultiFileStorage0" to
write.
 28-Jan 17:27 ibrpve3-sd JobId 34442: Ready to read from volume "EEG2Ril_0001"
on File device "MultiFileStorage1" (/rpool-backup/bacula).
 28-Jan 17:27 ibrpve3-sd JobId 34442: Recycled volume "EEG2Ril_0016" on File
device "MultiFileStorage0" (/rpool-backup/bacula), all previous data lost.
 28-Jan 17:27 lnfbacula-dir JobId 34442: Max Volume jobs=1 exceeded. Marking
Volume "EEG2Ril_0016" as Used.
 28-Jan 17:27 ibrpve3-sd JobId 34442: Forward spacing Volume "EEG2Ril_0001" to
addr=240
 29-Jan 06:39 ibrpve3-sd JobId 34442: End of Volume "EEG2Ril_0001" at
addr=4999680044419 on device "MultiFileStorage1" (/rpool-backup/bacula).
 29-Jan 06:39 ibrpve3-sd JobId 34442: Ready to read from volume "EEG2Ril_0002"
on File device "MultiFileStorage1" (/rpool-backup/bacula).
 29-Jan 06:39 ibrpve3-sd JobId 34442: Forward spacing Volume "EEG2Ril_0002" to
addr=240
 30-Jan 01:18 lnfbacula-dir JobId 34442: Error: Director's connection to SD for
this Job was lost.
 30-Jan 01:18 lnfbacula-dir JobId 34442: Error: Bacula lnfbacula-dir 9.4.2
(04Feb19):

I use many 'virtualfull' backups, and works as expected, but have some
megabyte of data, not 8TB.

Probably the I/O is so intensive that the director lost access to the SD,
backup fail, and restart again from the start.

It seems to me that (at least with this hardware) a VirtualFull for such
amount of data is not well suited; in the meantime, there's something i can
do?

Thanks.
