Ed Thompson To Offer "Common Sense" to Radio Audiences
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Tomah, WI. -- Starting July 11, former gubernatorial
candidate and
current
alderman of Tomah, Wisconsin, Ed Thompson, will be
delivering his own
weekly
commentary on "B94-5"/WTMB-FM, Tomah, every Monday
morning at 8:30.
The segment, called "Just a Little Common Sense," will
air as part of
the
station's "Beehive Breakfast Club" with Mike and
Steve. Thompson's
commentary will touch on national, state, and local
issues.
"I'll be talking about social security, health care,
smoking bans, loss
of
jobs, education, private property rights, government
corruption--anything
that affects the people," Thompson said. "As long as
we've got
politicians,
particularly professional politicians, I won't be
running out of
material
any time soon."
WTMB is one of eight Wisconsin radio stations owned by
the Magnum Radio
Group. Magnum will carry the Thompson segment on
their other Tomah
station,
OLDIES 1460/WBOG-AM at 2:50 p.m., also starting on
Monday.
Station Manager and Breakfast Club co-host, Steve
Peterson said, "We
are
very pleased to have Ed join our station's featured
programming. With
Ed's
notoriety, not just locally, but state-wide, his
commentary will shed a
common sense light on a variety of topics. I feel
that Ed has a great
message to offer everyone and I hope to add his
commentary on more of

When asked if he will seek higher political office
again, Thompson was
indefinite. "I'm focused on doing a good job as
alderman right now,"
he
said. "And running my Teepee Supper Club and doing
this radio thing.
Who
knows? I might have a whole new career ahead of me."
