AFTF Volunteer Update: September 16, 2006 Dear AFTF Volunteers: Great progress is being made!! Theatres in more and more cities are being booked thanks to the efforts of our volunteers throughout the country who have been providing invaluable leads, contacts and support at the local level. Our daily AFTF Volunteer conference calls are buzzing with more and more positive energy, excitement, ideas and feedback from a growing cadre of individuals and groups who are excited about supporting and promoting AFTF. Here's an example of some of the encouraging feedback we are getting - coming from another volunteer who considers himself to be a student of social change in our world: "Now, word is rippling out. This is just what I'm seeing on the various blogs. Vigorous debate is spilling out around the 16th amendment & etc, but the big boomer is out: the Fed is a privately held, for-profit corporation. That's what's sticking. All opposition can do is come back with "no it's not". Once the blogosphere gets hold of a nugget like that, it's a done deal. A few thousand or so independent researchers are cranking away right now. I look forward to whatever they'll dig up. "Creature from Jekyll Island" sales are picking up." "See, the greatest thing in the movie is it actually gives people hope. It's hope that they can do something. This is a great gift. And if this hope holds true, as we very well know it will, they will love this hope and protect it. And they will love you for bringing it to them. Nothing else says what they've been waiting to hear which is "you and me are going to do something about this situation". We've launched a nationwide college-university outreach committee. We've also launched a nationwide religious-church outreach committee. Here is a list of the 12 committees that have been formed in the past 2-3 weeks: 1) Theatrical Venue Committee 2) Volunteer Meeting Committee 3) Endorsement Screening/Contact Committee 4) Radio and Television Interview Committee 5) Newspaper Interview Committee 6) Flyer Copying and Distribution Committee 7) Promo Dvd Copying and Distribution Committee 8) Religious Outreach Committee 9) Volunteer E-mail & Database Administration 10) Outreach to Colleges and Universities 11) Volunteer Liaison to Foreign Countries 12) Digital/Video Content Committee We have volunteers from all across the country - and the world - who have stepped up to share their time, energy and talents in the respective areas of interest. In addition, we are in the process of interviewing individuals from across the country who may be interested in becoming AFTF Regional and State coordinators. And as you can see by the committee # 11 on the above list, we're also beginning a more formal process of reaching out to individuals throughout the world who would like to begin the process of promoting and supporting AFTF in their local countries. In fact, if you have ever taken the time to join our daily AFTF Volunteer Conference calls you might be surprised to discover that one of our frequent "Volunteer Conference Call Chairs" is a dear lady who actually lives in Sydney Australia. Chicago leads the list of cities re-opening AFTF. We're very excited here in Chicago to be once again welcoming Aaron's return for the special IMAX premier of AFTF on Navy Pier <http://www.navypier.com/>, next Thursday September 21st at 7:00 pm, sponsored by Conscious Choice Magazine (CCM). We're working hard to get Aaron and AFTF exposure on other radio and TV shows as well as with other groups. Coincidentally, over the same weekend Aaron's here in Chicago, the American Monetary Institute (AMI) <http://www.monetary.org/>will be having their Second Annual convention. This news tip was received from an AFTF volunteer and, just yesterday, I got on the phone - for the first time - with AMI Founder/Chairman, Stephen Zarlenga, who has invited Aaron, myself and other local AFTF volunteers to their "Beach Party" on the shores of Lake Michigan Sunday afternoon. On Monday, September 25th, Aaron will be attending the launch of what the organizers hope will become the longest movie run in Chicago history. This run of AFTF - at the ICE Chatem 14 Theatre, 210 W. 87th Street in Chicago - will launch the beginning of the Chicago Arts Initiative program <http://www.e-turnity.net/whyeturnity.html> which is in partnership with Aaron Russo to raise money for educational and scholarship programs to benefit inner city kids. An education and arts fair will begin 1 hour prior to the screening of AFTF. And just in case you haven't heard, Aaron and AFTF have provided the catalyst for what will become on of the biggest patriot-liberty events ever at the Shrine Auditorum <http://www.shrineauditorium.com/facts.html> in Los Angeles over the weekend of October 21-22. This conference is being billed as "The Fed Up With The Fed" educational symposium. Famous speakers from the Liberty & Freedom movement nationwide are planning to speak/attend. Please stay tuned for more information. I would be remiss if I did not mention the fact that there's much anticipation going forward for "pay per view" and DVD sales of AFTF. Some of our volunteers are growing more and more excited about the possibility of AFTF someday being placed on Google Video for free to so that the entire world can benefit from the truth of its contents. I could go on and on, but I will close on this note: The power and energy of the truth behind AFTF is indeed spreading all over the world. Many new volunteers are signing up each day. We need more and more and more individuals to be exposed to the material and truth within AFTF. And to accelerate the exposure of AFTF, Aaron has agreed to allow AFTF volunteers to reach out to groups to organize "paid for" screenings which will be used as fund-raisers to benefit these groups and Aaron's company.
