Today is one of the darkest days in American History. The military commissions
act has gone into effect, passed primarily by the Republicans. If you want to help stop the creeping Fascism of our Federal Government, first the Patriot Act and now this, get these links out with copies of the articles to EVERYONE you know. If we don't do it now, we soon won't be able to. Our elected officials swore an oath to protect and defend the Constitution. They have just created the ability to put you into a concentration camp without a trial, violating what is left of your Constitutional Rights, for speaking out against the government. This is no better than the Nazi's of Germany.
In Missouri, Bond and Talent in the Senate and Akin, Hulsof, Blunt, Graves and Emerson in the House voted lockstep with Bush. That means either they agree or they don't read what they sign. Cleaver, Skelton, Clay, Carnahan did not.
