-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 FITTS FOR FIGHT MP3S WANTED
A norwegian band with the silly name Fitts for Fight, consisting of two girls and an a lot older "producer", who has been releasing a few singles and touring for a while, has been discoverd systematicly stealing all their music from micromusic artists. Their latest hit "Fuck of and die" is a direct rip of STus song "STereiod". Adding some lyrics to it and claiming it as their own. They also stole other micromusicartists songs. After being confronted, they are maniacly trying to hide the thefts by removing most of their music and videos from their webspace and myspacepage and youtube. All music that Fitts for Fight put out as "their tracks" has been downloaded from Micromusic.net All music released on Micromusic is free for download for all users and released under the Creative Commons Share Alike License. This means the music can be remixed and republished as long as 1. the original creator gave his/her permission to use the song 2. the original creator is credited 3. the music is released under the same license aka non-commercial and free for download. But these girls have not remixed any of these songs. Nor have they asked for permission or credited the original creator. They have copy/pasted music that other people made and published it as their own. Obviously these girls have no grasp of what the micromusic community is built on and stands for: to share music for free without abusing that freedom. What is worse: FFF now claims that all micromusic artists have stolen their music, and they are trying to build a case AGAINST Micromusic. As a free community that fights for our users and artists we have to take action now. We therefore would like you to mail mp3s from titts for fitts if you have any and contact: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] THANK YOU ALL!
