Thank you for the link Mark. It appears that the writers have difficulties with "He doeth what He willeth" and "He need only say "Be" and it is." As well, it appears that they make a basic assumption that man has somehow, in every important sense, created himself. This last being, to me, materialism gone to the extreme.

For all of that, I am puzzled about the distinction you appear to make between God and His Essence.
