Dear Susan, Apologies - I did not explain. My experience has been that contact with the Word in the sequence of Books has been engaging and well worth while. Meditation has been a consequence and a motivating experience throughout. I have just been on Pilgrimage and experienced the love and warmth of the Universal House members and the enthusiasm of the ITC so perhaps I was a bit over sensitive to the criticisms.
