Blessed art thou... inasmuch as thou hast entered Mine Ark, and
art speeding, through the power of My sovereign and most exalted might, on the
ocean of grandeur, and art numbered with My favoured ones whose names the Finger
of God hath inscribed. Thou hast quaffed the cup which is life indeed from
the hands of this Youth, around Whom revolve the Manifestations of the
All-Glorious, and the brightness of Whose presence they Who are the Day Springs
of Mercy extol in the day time and in the night
season.

I bear witness that he who hath known Thee hath known God, and he who
hath attained unto Thy presence hath attained unto the presence of God. Great,
therefore, is the blessedness of him who hath believed in Thee, and in Thy
signs, and hath humbled himself before Thy sovereignty, and hath been honored
with meeting Thee, and hath attained the good pleasure of Thy will, and circled
around Thee, and stood before Thy throne.

saying: "O Thou Who art the Image of the Most Merciful! How long
will it be ere Thou riddest me of the captivity of this world, and deliverest me
from the bondage of this life? Didst Thou not promise me that Thou shalt
dye the earth with me, and sprinkle me on the faces of the inmates of Thy
Paradise?" To this I make reply: "Be thou patient and quiet
thyself. The things thou desirest can last but an hour. As to me,
however, I quaff continually in the path of God the cup of His decree, and wish
not that the ruling of His will should cease to operate, or that the woes I
suffer for the sake of my Lord, the Most Exalted, the All-Glorious, should be
ended.
